Terms of Service

These terms describe the EasySitePlan service as it works today. Last updated August 5, 2026.

The service

EasySitePlan generates preliminary site plans from public records, aerial imagery, and government map layers. You can create, edit, and inspect a watermarked preview for free. A one-time purchase unlocks the clean, print-resolution PDF for that plan.

Not a survey or permit service

EasySitePlan plans are not boundary surveys and are not sealed by a licensed surveyor or engineer. We do not file permit applications for you. Public records can contain errors and mapping tolerances, so you must verify the dimensions, site conditions, and local requirements before submitting a plan.

Local requirements

Jurisdictions set their own requirements and may request changes or reject an applicant-drawn plan. Our eligibility checks, rules, and checklists come from public sources and may lag a city change. Confirm current requirements with the permit office responsible for your property.

Plan access

EasySitePlan does not use customer accounts. Your full plan link contains a secret access key that can open and edit the plan. Keep that link private and retain it if you want to return for later edits or downloads. Anyone with the full link may be able to use the same access.

Guarantee and refunds

Re-editing and re-downloading a purchased plan does not require another purchase. If your jurisdiction rejects the plan for something our eligibility check should have caught, such as selling a plan where a sealed survey was required, request a full refund by replying to your Polar receipt or emailing [email protected].

Payments

Polar Software, Inc. handles checkout as merchant of record. Your payment and receipt come from Polar, and card details do not pass through EasySitePlan's servers. The price and any available discount are shown before you confirm the purchase.
